What is Wounded Hearts?
A place where we can go to find others who relate to our situation. A place where we can find others to help and to gain help from, in this horrible journey through the unique grief of losing a child.

When my son died my world shattered. Life changed instantly and permanently. People who had not experienced the loss of their child couldn't understand.
Some tried to, some cried with me, other's judged. Some just didn't talk about it at all.

My help came from those I found on the net, whose children had died and who had worked through the stages I was in. I was so thankful for them.
I want to give this chance to everyone who is in need.

Link to Wounded Hearts!

Here is a link to the web site for my son.   On it are helps, surveys, and my journey from beginning to now, which I am so happy to say is free of the sadness that has plagued my life for almost 5 years. It has been a help to many people, may you find some help and solace there.

( There are grammar mistakes on that site because it was written as it was experienced. It would take too long to correct them all, please bare that in mind.)

We have such a hard time and it is nice to have help no matter how small. I want to let you know that there are some helpful pages on my son's site. Here are some links to some pages that others have found helpful.

Art & Photography by Patricia

is a my work site. I want to share it with you because it goes to show that life does return to you after you have traveled the road of grief. It took a while for me to get back into drawing but now I am able to do consignment work again along with teaching art. It took years to get out of the jungle of grief, but it can and does happen.
